Vivid Sydney is where art, technology and commerce intersect. It is a summit, forum and playground for the creative industries.

The creatively-minded people of the world - from professionals to the curious - are invited to Sydney annually to transform the city into a breathtaking canvas of creative expression.
For 18 days, creative practitioners, corporate professionals, families and people of all generations take advantage of Sydney's mild winter weather and immerse themselves in a truly spectacular show

It positions the city as the creative hub of Australia and the Asia Pacific region and delivers innovative live entertainment and inspiration on a grand scale.

Clear skies and amazing installations can mean BIG crowds! Here’s some tips to getting the most out of your Vivid Sydney experience this year:
1. The busiest time is usually around 8pm. Come early (lights are on at 6) or late (they stay on until midnight).
2. There is so much more to see than just the Opera House, MCA and Customs House. Head to Walsh Bay, North Sydney or Darling Harbour or one of the other 60 installation sites! Have a look at the map and get planning;

3. The less crowded nights are Monday – Thursday.
4. Jump on the free Vivid Sydney Harbour Shuttle ferry service which operates between Kirribilli, Walsh Bay and Darling Harbour from 6pm-midnight every night of the 18-day event.
